I must say, coffee is one of my most favorite things in the world! Especially during the summer, I love a ice cold caffeinated drink and probably spend a small fortune for them. I got a email from Starbucks (don’t be surprised that I’m on their mailing list!) about this iced coffee brewer with a free bag of coffee. I couldn’t pass it up, any time I get free coffee, I’m on it.

Plus I thought if this actually worked (Trust me, I’ve tried my hand at making ice coffee at home and it never taste the same!), I would be saving!

This set includes everything you need to get started (minus the run up to Starbucks to grind the coffee for me, you would think they would do that!). All you have to do is set it up like so placing the cone filter on top, add 16 leveled tablespoons and measure out 24 fluid ounces of HOT water.

Pour in the water slowly, letting the coffee settle a bit between pours. When you have poured all the water in I started “mushing” the grounds with the back of a spoon to get all the liquid out. Once it is all filtered through, throw the cone out and place the pitcher into your fridge. The whole process took about ten minutes, if that! I made this at night and it was perfect for the next morning!

I was so excited the next morning to have some ice coffee! It was DELICIOUS, strong and bold just like Starbucks! I was beyond happy with my purchase for this very reason! Not only am I using it for plain iced coffee, I’m going to try my hand at frappuccino soon too! If you love Starbucks iced coffee as much as I do and don’t want to spend a fortune during the summer… I highly recommend purchasing this set for your home! :]

Sadly this product doesn’t seem to be on the market anymore, trust me I checked. I’m sure you could find it on eBay though if you are really interested in. Starbucks does have a handful of pour of coffee brewers which would be similar to what you have here, minus the pitcher included. I hope that helps!
