With 15 1/2 days left of school, you know I’ve been thinking about summer. Actually, to be completely honest, I’ve been thinking and wishing for summer since earlier this year. I was so busy last summer setting up my classroom that I didn’t get much of a break so I’m beyond excited for these final days to past by! Here are ten things I want to to do this summer, in no particular order!
During the summer I always order cable again because there is nothing fun to watch on Hulu Plus. One perk to getting cable is having my love Food Network back. I literally could sit all day watching cooking show after cooking show! Another fun thing my boyfriend and I do with our subscription to the magazine is create 1 recipe each month from it. We call it our Food Network Nights.
I’ve been meaning to create a DYI Lightbox for my office for months, I even have all the materials! I can’t wait to have some time to create one and improve my photography.
I’ve dedicated a lot of time this year to my new grade levels and the workload that comes with it. I know my friends and family haven’t seen me as much so I’m looking forward to spending quality time with them. <3
I’m looking forward to having more time to dedicate to growing my blog. With no other work loads I’m really going to spend some time getting my name out there! I’m coming up to one year (already?!) and can’t wait to celebrate with all my followers!
I have been pinning away on my Summer Bucket List board. We all know a teacher’s job is never over during the summer so I’m hoping I can work on some stress free projects at home!
After all my cruise eating, I need to make sure I stay on track with watching what I eat. I especially need to take advantage of the great weather we should be having!
I think this is on everyone’s list! I’m so excited to read something other than a curriculum manual or a professional development article.
Pretty self explanatory, right??? I need to stay on budget this summer!
One of my FAVORITE things to do is camp during the summer. Lucky for me, my best friend Lindsey also loves it! We have already planned for 2 trips and one more possibly. That doesn’t count my week long trip to California with my family!
LOVE the "Keep Calm and Blog On" sign! I am participating in some blogger book studies and linky parties to keep myself focused on growing too!

There is always room to grow!
Great list! We have some of the same goals. I can't wait to start blogging this summer. It's been way to hard during the school year.
It really has but that's okay, that's what summer is for!
