Happy New Year! I’m only 5 days late to saying that. I have had the best holiday break, slightly busy but overall just want the doctor ordered. My house is finally clean clean, my classroom is cleaned, copies and plans are made and my brain is refreshed! Not only did I have so much fun during break but I caught up with my true love, cooking! I’ve been obsessed these two weeks cooking and watching Food Network. MAN! I could watch it all day. 🙂
Moving forward, I’ve been thinking about a few resolutions I have for 2014!
My worst habit is not saving. So this year I’m giving Kaylie from Life as You Live It’s 52 Week Money Challenge. I’m totally going to use that money to travel more in 2015!
Although I LOVE cooking, I have the worst habit after school to run through a drive through and pick up dinner. This year, I’m going to try really hard to prep myself for the week and keep some snacks ready so my afternoon is not spent in my car and more in my kitchen!
One thing I want to continue to work on is growing my blog. I love having this outlet to share my ideas, my life and job! That means making the time for my blog and continuing to think of creative posts to share with the world!
My last resolution has to do with my job. I get stressed and overwhelmed very easily if things are not planned, packaged and thought out completely. I need to continue to remember that I am only human and that things will be fine if they are not PERFECT. I’m in love with this mug from C. Jayne Teach. It’s exactly what I need to remember everyday!
