1. November Third Grade Homework
Spent the beginning of the week with a goal in mind, FINISH November homework for those third grade kiddos. I remember this time last year I was just thinking about a way to make homework a little less painful for my group of kids. Now, almost a year a later, my complete set is almost done. I still have June and July to work on but I already set another goal to get those done this month!
2. Now Designing for WordPress!
I’ve been keeping it a secret for a while but I’m happy to finally announce that my design business, Laugh Eat Learn Designs, is now designing for WordPress! It’s a huge leap of faith but you can’t grow if you don’t take risks, right?? I’m thankful everyday for the time I get to spend being creative!
3. Mondays!
I’ve been putting a spin on my Monday’s lately and thinking of them as fresh starts to the week instead of dreading them. This particular Monday was FABULOUS! It’s all about a positive attitude!
4. Thank You, Daylight Savings
Speaking of being positive and thankful, THANK YOU daylight savings for making my day. I’ve been a little down, leaving for school at 6:30 AM to get there on time and being in complete darkness the whole way there. Tuesday I was shocked/surprised that I opened the door to SUNLIGHT. I did a little happy dance, Jonathan looked at me like I was crazy and ran out the door.
5. Bullet Journals
I spent the evening, after a day full of conferences and a night full grad school and thesis talk, in my office listening to Pandora and reading all about Bullet Journals. Have you ever heard of them?! I’ve been slowly converting to paper and pen since the summer but now I can be a little more organized! I especially LOVE her take on the Bullet Journal. Simply beautiful! I know mine won’t look that amazing but at least it will be a little more organized! :]
