It’s been awhile since my last Friday post! I’m very excited that I finally have the energy to sit down and do one! It has been one of those crazy weeks when you are running around with your to do list in one hand and your 3rd coffee in the other. It is a Happy Friday because in a few hours it’s the weekend!
1. Almost summer
7.5 days left, that’s all! My kiddos and I are chugging along, going through the motions trying to ignore our excitement from our countdown.
2. Whiteboard helper
I am lucky enough to have this HUGE whiteboard in my office area. Towards the end of the year I always write down all the standards I still need to hit before the last day. Teaching two grade levels means double everything. My students and I got in the groove the last couple weeks and tackled a TON! Look at my whiteboard now on the right!!!
3. Almost ready
With TONS of help from my parent volunteers, I’ve have been preparing for next year already! I’ve already gotten my morning work and data tracking books copied, laminated and binded! My next goal is getting their BEE Folders done and ready!
4. Birthday weekend
This last weekend I celebrated my brother’s birthday with the family! It was a gorgeous day out and we celebrated with a garden shopping, Cuban food and a mini pool party!
5. Slant box fun
This month I participated in the SLANT BOX exchange hosted by Lessons with Coffee. I sent off my package to Misty from Krazy About Teaching and received a AWESOME box from Jennifer at Stories And Songs in Second Grade! I’ll be posting on all my goodies soon!

Alexis, I LOVE the idea of binding the morning work for all the students! I just freaked my husband out because I may have made a super loud noise when I realized what you did!
