Lifestyle

1. Looking Good

Laugh Eat Learn has a brand new look! It’s been a work in progress for a couple of weeks now and still a work in progress. As I continue to work on the final touches, I can’t help but welcome the simplistic overhaul to my little home away from home. In all honesty, I got jealous of all the blogs I’ve been designing for others, I had to pause and focus on building my own! With summer almost here, 2 days left but who’s counting, I’ll {thankfully} have some more time to continue to add little bits and pieces on my own time!

2. Last Full Week

It’s finally the end of the last full week of school. I’m exhausted to say the least! Yesterday was filled with party and party with different classrooms, grades were due this week and I’ve been a packing fool. I got home and crashed on the couch for a few hours. Nothing like #teachertired. We have our field day on Monday and a half day on Tuesday then I’m DONE! I’m beyond ready for summer!

3. Cuban Lasagna

I finally have a nice recipe on the blog, it’s been way too long. Last week I made my Cuban Lasagna for the first time for J. He looked at me crazy at first but ultimately said it was one of his top 10 recipes of all time. That’s pretty big!!

4. Farmers Market Love

First off, some of the reasons I love Jonathan so much: He goes grocery shopping for us, he loves the farmers market and he says weird shit that makes me laugh! :] Since I’ve moved to Seattle with Jonathan, I’ve been enjoying many new things that go with living in the city! One thing is the weekly farmers market right down the street from our house! I went a little flower crazy this week, you can’t go wrong with $5 bundles. Also, peonies are finally in season and my absolute favorite!

5. Sugar, Sugar

Earlier this week, we earned “free” choice during computer lab time. I introduced my kiddos to Math Playground for the first time (so much better than Cool Math!). We somehow stumbled upon this game called Sugar, Sugar. It should really be called Addiction, Addiction. I haven’t been able to stop playing, it’s so addicting! I even downloaded the app on my phone to play. Sugar + Coffee + Logical Thinking = My type of game!
