It’s been an amazingly long time since I’ve done a Friday post. As I’m relaxing by the fire with my boyfriend near by and The 100 in the background, I thought why not!
1. 4 Years Down!
Jonathan and I are celebrating our 4 year anniversary in Seaside, Oregon this week! I had Monday and Tuesday off this week for our “mid-winter” break. So we decided to make a week of it and go down to our FAVORITE place. We still have two more days left here! š
2. Dinner In!
In our room we are lucky enough to have a full kitchen with tools. Every year we come to one of these time shares, we always spend one night making a meal! This time around we thought surf and turf sounded delish. I was able to snap a few pictures during the process so I’ll be posting the recipe soon on the shrimp but you can find how we cook our steaks here. I can’t take all the credit! Jonathan taught me everything I know about making the perfect steak.
3. Dutch Bros!
Raise your hand if you LOVE Dutch Bros as much as I do?! Sadly, there is only a handful in Washington so anytime I’m in Oregon, I go about 500 times.
4. Designs by Alexis!
Yes, I decided to start blog designing!! I’ve always been a computer nerd and created designs for here and there but never for other people. So far I’ve designed for two amazing bloggers, Angie from Lucky Little Learners and Brooke from Joyful Rigor with Ms. Jones. I’m so thankful for this new journey and I can’t wait to create for more fabulous bloggers!
5. Weekly Homework Packets!
Lastly, let’s put ONE school related subject in here. I’ve recently changed my entire homework structure within my classroom and it was the best decision I’ve made this year! We use to do a nightly homework problem in our Math INBs but we always ran out of time with our lesson. I always had kids forgetting their INBs at home or them getting ripped so I knew it was time for a change. I decided to go to making these simple yet completely connected to our learning weekly homework packets. Again, best decision I’ve ever made! Look for a more detailed post coming soon!

Looks like you are having a blast in Seaside. I love the swings on the beach in Seaside! Whoever thought of that is genius! Your blog designs are beautiful. Good luck on your new venture. We also did a weekly homework packet and it made life so much easier with out 2nd graders. Enjoy your last couple of days on vacation!
