Five Things // March 16th

Lifestyle

1. Got my first Erin Condren Life Planner

This week started with something special in the mail, my first Erin Condren life planner! I know, I already got the grief from Cuba and Jonathan about ordering another planner, but I can’t help it. I absolutely love the time I spend on my Bullet Journal, but I was actually running out of time with how busy we have been and wedding planning. So I decided to simplify one aspect of my life and get a pre-dated planner. I chose the horizontal style as it was the closest to what I like in my bujo. So far so good, planning was so much easier this week! If you are tempted to try a EC Life Planner (or any of her planners) yourself, save $10 by using my referral code here.

2. Broadway Play Subscriptions all Booked

It’s been a few years since Jonathan and I had our subscription to the Broadway Across America tours active and have been missing these instant date nights. We made a plan to book a new subscription (and keep it going) this time around. There are some amazing shows this year (and next) including seeing The Lion King again! So amazing. Our first show starts in June, can’t wait!

3. Dinner with Friends

We had dinner with our friends this week at our home and got to introduce Cuba to their foster daughter. It was simply adorable and the two of them loved each other! I’m happy to see Cuba doing so well with kids. They always bring over the best wine, including this Rose which was delish even with ice!

4. Playing The Sims on iPad

I’m a huge fan of The Sims, like huge, but I don’t play that often because I get sucked into it too easily. I noticed that they just released a new sims version free on the iPad so I had to check it out. I’m giving myself grace on this one because I do think it’s a form of self care to check out in a video game instead of worrying about work or other such stressors.

5. Sunshine in Seattle

It was beautiful the other day here in Seattle. Cuba and I took a break from our work day (she is a professional sleeper while I work my butt off) and hung outside for a while. This type of weather is getting me so excited for spring and summer!
