1. Recovery/Best Boyfriend Award

I was out on Friday last week because I had to get my wisdom tooth pulled and spent most of the weekend either in bed or on the couch sleeping off the pain. Thankfully I had plenty of TV to catch up on and a AWESOME boyfriend who brought me Chicken Pho’ (My go to when I’m not feeling well), ice coffee and kept me company for a few hours!

2. Football EVERYWHERE

Once I was feeling a little bit better and cabin fever started to set in, I decided to go get my nails done. Now, for anyone who knows me, I’m not at all into football. I can watch it if it’s on but I never go out of my way to watch it. Well I figured I’d go into get my nails done and relax watching the Food Network… Nope, football! Overall it was a intense amazing game that I’m glad I got forced to watch! I can’t believe the Seahawks made it to the Super Bowl! Shout out to my home team, I’m actually kind of excited to watch it now!! 🙂

3. Lookin’ Sharp, Dr. King!

Our MLK Jr. Suit & Tie project turned out so adorable! I still need to take some pictures of my kids final product but I at least wanted to share mine. My students even went the extra mile to make a American Flag background for his portrait. I promise to update with photos soon!

4. Fresh Flowers!

Nothing is better than fresh flowers in your home. After cleaning up house this week, I decided to run out to Trader Joe’s and pick up some flowers. They seriously have a GREAT selection and they are so affordable!

5. Feeling Amazing

Don’t you love those days when you wake up and just feel ready for the day; You feel so excited to head into work and dress up a little because it helps match your mood? That was totally yesterday (and today but I’m loving my outfit this morning!!). I woke up a little early to straighten my hair and decided to mix it up a little and go with stripes AND a pattern scarf. Scary, I know, but I think it turned out adorable!

  1. Those flowers are so pretty! I wish we had a Trader Joe's where we live!

  2. {Visiting from the link up} Being taken care of you're recovering is the sweetest thing! Fresh flowers make my heart happy too 🙂 Have a great week!!
