I’ve known that today was going to be a bittersweet day for months. I’ve slowly been preparing for it week after week, picking up and packing up here and there. I was finally brave enough to tell my students just last week.
This morning I finally finished and stared at the madness. I actually started my blog around the same time I got the keys to my very own classroom and captured my excitement in my first post ever.
Not only is it the last day of school, ending my 4th year teaching, but it is also my last day at the school I begun my teaching career at. It’s been an amazing 4 years learning and growing and I’ve worked with some amazing people over the years that I will miss very much. I will miss being apart of the community but with my recent move to Seattle, my blog and designing business blooming, and a new passion coming to form from grad school, I decided it was time for a change.
Congratulations on your wonderful opportunity! I am leaving my first school this year as well, and it is such a bittersweet experience. Also, I just love your new blog design! -Stephanie Applelight Moments By Stephanie

So proud of you for making the jump and excited to see what the future holds for you! It's difficult to make such a big decision, but it will pay off in the end! And yes, the new design is fabulous!! 🙂
Thank you, Jennifer! <3 I've told you it was inspired by your blog simplicity! And thank you for the support. I'm just so excited to see what the future holds. :]

Wow, what an amazing opportunity! How exciting it must be for you to be able to harness in a bit all of your creative talents and make them work for you instead of YOU working for them!! Go girl.. be the success you were destined to BE!
