Last week I sailed away to Alaska with my boyfriend, Jonathan and two of my great friends for a week. It was a beautiful day when we left and all of us thought we would be missing the great weather here in Seattle. Luckily, Alaska was just as beautiful and just as warm! I’m thinking this shot needs to be printed and framed, ASAP!
A few of our favorite moments and dishes:
If you have never been on a cruise before (what are you waiting for?!) they serve a copious amounts of food 24 hours a day so you are always eating. We felt like VIPs the entire week with turn down service, nightly shows and a personal steward. We were able to visit a few ports during our time but my favorite was Ketchikan, AK, the one we were in the least amount of time! By far the best fish and chips I’ve eating in a long time served with a soy mayo tarter sauce?! That’s going on my must make recipe list!
All in all, I had an amazing time away but I am (somewhat) glad to be back home where my diet can go back to normal and I’m on steady ground! :]

Your trip looks like it was FABULOUS! Did you go on a whale watch? And are the animal sculptures you are pictured with made of bath towels? How CUTE! The fish-and-chips look mouth-watering!
