I have a confession, I can be the worst eater sometimes! I love cooking but I hate last minute meals. I much rather grab something on the way home from work then try to figure out what to cook once I get home. I figured this out some time ago so right away I began meal planning. Having a meal plan makes me accountable for not only my eating habits but also my wallet. Meal planning helps lower my grocery and eating out bills, letting me spend that money on other things!

Every Sunday, I sit down and plan out my weeks meals based on what I have in my fridge, my already planned dinner dates and meals I’ve prepared in the past are in my freezer. I’m very conscious when I’m making new meals to make enough to either have for leftovers or freeze for later. During the summer months, I stick up my lunch menu so I take account for my whole day!
I use a Vis-A-Vis pen so there is no smearing and it comes off easily with a wet towel. I’ve noticed dry erase markers leave marks on my laminated sheets. If you chose to print off, you can easily have these in dollar store frames! Dry erase markers work much better on glass!
Once I planned out my meal, I stick my menu on my fridge so I can easily see what I’m having every day. I stick my menu up with a small magnet on the back. Now I can easily take out what I need the night before to defrost or prepare any meals I may need for the week.
