1. Building Vocabulary
Have you heard of a CCD before? I was inspired to write all about this great strategy for building vocabulary within your classroom. I tried to break it all down so that you could start using it in your classroom right away and even included a freebie!
2. It’s time for a CUT!
Anyone else feel like they don’t have enough time? It’s been months since I got my head shaved, hair cut, and colored. I’m glad I finally got a chance this week to take some time to do it!

4. Clean Workspace
There is nothing better than a clean workspace with some fresh flowers! Now that I’m working part time, I’m using my office a whole lot more and this is the perfect way to make my day a little brighter. Sadly, I don’t know where I am going to find big beautiful flowers for $5 now that the farmer’s market is closed for the season!
5. Acrostic Poems
Have I mentioned I love fall? I think about a thousand times. But seriously, it’s my favorite. I also try to build the love with my students. What easier way than through acrostic poems?
