Happy Friday! It’s been a crazy crazy busy busy week!! I’m so thankful it’s the weekend!
I love my slow-cooker! It’s my best friend during the school year. Tuesday I threw in some chicken, beans and stock so when I got home my boyfriend and I could enjoy tortilla soup. It was beyond delicious and I still have tons of leftovers!
Today was the first spirit day of the school year. Each month we are to dress up and the class with the most participates gets to win the trophy. I’m hoping this school my class pulls through but I love winning!! š My co-worker suggested Mrs. Frizzle and I was on it right away!! I love to dress up, can you tell?
My kiddos and I have been studying Geometry non-stop. Today was our re-test of the first couple standards we used. I wanted to make sure they did well so they paired up and used the INBs to quiz each other. I’m amazed at how handy those interactive notebooks are so far! I’m planning a whole post on it soon!
I planned a fun art project with my kiddos with a challenge… make your face symmetrical! They had a blast and did a decent job at doing it. The best part was all the giggling the entire time.
Like I said before, it’s been a crazy week! I finally finished my reading assessments so I’m so ready for a relaxing weekend at HOME! Of course, I’m going to use the time to get ready for next week but at least I’ll be in my PJs, right?! The first thing I’m doing after posting this is curling up on the couch and watching Parenthood with my best friend! P.S. I hit 2000 pageviews!! Thanks everyone! š
That soup looks yummy! It sounds simple. Love the Miss Frizzle costume too!
