Most people don’t realize exactly what it takes to run a business. It’s more than posting on social media or booking projects. It’s writing endless amounts of copy and trying to finagle your calendar, so you can actually take the weekend off. 😅 When AI came into the picture, I was curious about how it could help me in my business. I’ve found some really awesome ways to use ChatGPT as an entrepreneur, and maybe they will help you, too!
The biggest player in the game, ChatGPT, has saved me several times in my business. Getting ChatGPT to produce the right results can take time, but once you develop some solid prompts, it becomes much easier!
I saw this AI tip on Threads, and it has been really helpful! I tell ChatGPT what projects and tasks I have planned for the week, and I ask it to break down my tasks by day. This helps me plan my schedule and step out of the “where do I start?!” paralysis.
If you’ve ever been asked what your brand voice is, you might have been at a loss for words. (Pun intended. 😆) If you input some of your copy into ChatGPT and ask it to evaluate the tone and voice, it will give you a description that you can pass off to contractors (or even use in your own business).
It’s easy to get stuck in the big idea phase of a project. Use ChatGPT to formulate an outline of your big idea, like a course, project, or product, so you can turn your ideas into action.
ChatGPT is a great tool for entrepreneurs who utilize email marketing. You can have ChatGPT write quick newsletter emails, create email outlines, or even map out your next email sequence. Sometimes, you just need a starting place to make the writing process easier.
This has been a game-changing AI tool for me. Ask ChatGPT to create a posting schedule for Instagram (or other social media). You can feed it some topics you are interested in, and it will produce unique ideas you can create content around.
Google Sheets is capable of some amazing things, but I don’t have all the possible shortcuts and formulas memorized. That’s where ChatGPT comes in handy. Ask ChatGPT to generate the code or formula for a specific task you want to accomplish in Google Sheets.
I even added some ChatGPT shortcuts to my Settin’ Up Shop course, which walks you through how to create a WooCommerce shop on your WordPress site! These shortcuts make it so much easier to bulk upload products.
Of course, ChatGPT is far from the only AI tool for business out there anymore. Here are a few other AI tools I use as an entrepreneur.
On TikTok or Reels, you might have seen people use the Generative Fill AI tool in Photoshop. You can completely erase or change objects in a photo. You can also fill space or change backgrounds, which comes in handy when branding photos.
Canva’s Magic Studio is also getting better by the month. You can ask Canva’s AI to create templates for you, write presentation slides, and more. As an entrepreneur, this can be a big time-saver!
What do you think about this ChatGPT for entrepreneur hacks? I’ve been really surprised by how often I use AI tools in my business, and I’m hopeful that as AI becomes even better – I’ll find even more ways to take repetitive tasks off my plate.
